The Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory Acting School and Acting Classes

The acting classes at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory train the artist to deliver emotional truth through acting in film, television, and theatre.



Overview of Our Acting Program

Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory (LAPAC) provides actor training for beginners, advanced artists, as well as those that are transitioning into English-speaking markets.

Our school is approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education as a degree granting institution and we offer an Associate Degree of Fine Arts in Acting as well as non-degree certificate programs and short-term intensive acting workshops.

Additionally, we offer summer acting programs for teens, gap year acting programs for students recently out of high school, as well as a variety of acting classes and workshops aimed at international students.

LAPAC is accredited to offer international students F1 students visas to attend qualifying programs. For details about our programs for international students, visit the International Students section.

How do I apply to LAPAC?

Start by filling out our Online Application.  Once submitted, LAPAC will contact you and provide you with the next steps of the admissions process.

Do you accept international students?

Yes, LAPAC is a wonderful mix of students from the United States and around the world.   Find more information about international student admissions at our International Students section.


Are international students required to speak English fluently to attend LAPAC?

No.  While some proficiency in English is required, LAPAC welcomes students that are seeking to enhance their skills as English speakers.  For those international students that wish to become more proficient in English, we offer the acting class English Thru Performing Arts.


How long are your school terms?

LAPAC divides it’s school year into quarters.  A 2-year program at LAPAC, such as the Associates Degree program or the 2-year certificate program, requires 6 full-time quarters.  The 1-year certificate program requires 3 full quarters.
